Aussie rules (AFL) is a religion in these parts and the best place to worship is the hallowed MCG, or locally referred to as simply "the gee". The contests are an amazing mix of colour and fervour and that's just the crowd. The good news is the locals enjoy the game in typical Aussie fashion - hard but fair, so it's suitable for all.
